Lichen planus and scabies

	The webs between the fingers are virtually always involved with papules and burrows. These sites may be affected in lichen planus but the papules are purple.
	The disorder is very itchy and when the lesions occur between the finger webs may be mistaken for scabies but the violaceous colour of the papules and the absence of burrows should distinguish the two.
